NEXT 2 sets of CLASSES: will be starting in the middle of March 2010 7pm - 9:00pm For 4 weeks. In White Rock B.C.

Learn our proven step by step process to having a peaceful birth.

I offer a 4 week course. You and your partner will get a structured but informal class format that teaches about the physical and emotional aspects of birth. You’ll learn advanced breathing techniques and deep relaxation techniques so that you can give birth in peace and with less pain.

Here are just some of the things you’ll learn.

  • . You will experience birthing in an atmosphere of calm relaxation, free of the fear that prevents the muscles of your body from functioning as nature intended them to. In this calm state, your body's natural relaxant, endorphins, replaces the stress hormones that constrict and cause pain.

  • Breathing techniques that actually help the birth, rather than make it harder (And it’s not the panting that most people think they have to do. Think about it - why would anyone want to hyperventilate during labour??)

  • How to dramatically reduce your risk of tearing during birth with this simple massage technique

  • When it’s right to stand your ground with the medical staff...what questions to ask...and when it’s time to let them take charge

  • How to release any fears you might have about childbirth... regardless of where they come from
