All those birth choices and worries. Are online prenatal courses any good? Should I take Lamaze or hospital birthing classes instead? What are the foods to avoid in pregnancy? Is it really okay to exercise?
How do I get my birth partner to give me the support I need? Should we create a birth plan or pregnancy journal? Can I have a natural childbirth in hospital or only at home? Maybe I want a natural water birth.
What’s a midwife? What’s a doula? And what’s the difference anyway? What causes labour pain? Can I avoid it without drugs or an epidural? Who can tell me about alternative birth choices?
Whoa, Mama! Relax! You’re stressing ME out!
It’s perfectly normal to feel anxious and even a bit alone sometimes, especially if you’re considering natural birth.
I’m Elizabeth MacKay. Please watch my video and let’s get acquainted. (There’s no sales pitch, I promise! It’s just me in my garden with my adorable grandson, talking about my career as a certified midwife and my life’s mission to take the fear out of natural labour for every expectant mother. Like you!).
Now that you know more about me, I hope you’ll take the time to browse my site and learn more about my Peaceful Birth SystemTM, too. So many moms-to-be are afraid of labour pain, but I can show you ways to get over that fear, reduce the pain – and even the duration – of your labour.
Without drugs or medical interventions of any kind.
Are there other online prenatal courses out there? Absolutely. Here’s what makes mine different.
I’m a trained midwife, hypnotherapist and reiki master. Make sure any course you buy has been prepared by someone with similar experience and qualifications.
Some courses are VERY complicated with ‘way more detail than you need. I’ve scoured the Net and, as far as I know, my Peaceful BirthTM System is the ONLY course that helps eliminate your fear of pain.
It’s easy to understand and fun to follow on your own, with your family or birthing partner, too!
There’s no greater joy in life than giving birth naturally. I don’t want you to miss it. You deserve to experience it. And your baby deserves the calmest, most graceful entry possible into this world of ours!
Thank you so much for visiting. Whatever you decide, I wish you and your little one good health and every happiness!
